Alpinestars took the occasion of the 2020 French MotoGP round at LeMans to introduce its newest Supertech R Limited Edition model. Designed for hometown hero Fabio Quartararo, the El Diablo 20 is black, gunmetal, and red all over.
The Supertech R boots feature a lightweight compound rubber sole, designed to enhance both grip and feel while riding. Microfiber and TPU dominate the construction, which also has a redesigned front flex area to combine comfort with protection. A TPU and aluminum toe slider is both replaceable and easily attached with a simple screw setup.
These boots also feature the bio-mechanical ankle brace found in all Supertech Rs. It allows all the natural movement you need for racing, yet will also keep your feet and ankles secure in the event of a crash.

- Strategically-placed ventilation in the heel and shin TPUs guide air through the boots
- Extremely flexible, comfortable design with excellent aerodynamics
- Separate internal biomechanical ankle braces work with the outer structure of the boots to form a protective system that allows full freedom of movement of the foot, ankle and leg
- External TPU shin protectors have a compact design that wrap around the outer calf and are engineered to dissipate impact energy across the entire surface
- Replaceable clip-on shin sliders improve protection from abrasion; vented sections improve airflow into the boots
- Integrated, replaceable co-injected TPU and aluminum toe sliders feature new easy-access screw fixing concept, provide improved feel and protect the boot outer box structure from abrasion
- Replaceable nylon heel plate sliders protect from impacts and reduces friction in the case of a crash
- Outer boot entries/exits has stretch accordion panel for a close fit and ease of entrance/removal
- Closure zippers are mounted soft TPU stretch panels for easy close and an excellent fit; additional TPU zip sliders reduce friction in the event of a crash
- Hook-and-loop tab locks keep the zip pull closed, flat and secure
- Micro-adjustable redesigned ratchet top closures stow tab end
