About the 2011 Misano Helmet
A rare and emotionally charged piece of MotoGP history, the 2011 Misano Limited Edition helmet captures Valentino Rossi at one of the most defining moments of his career. Worn during the Misano Grand Prix while riding for Ducati, this helmet is far more than race gear—it’s a visual diary of a turbulent season.
Designed by legendary helmet artist Aldo Drudi, the helmet features a fluorescent yellow base with Rossi’s now-iconic “stinking fish” graphic. The fish, paired with cartoon-style thought bubbles filled with playful (and pointed) expletives, symbolized Rossi’s very real frustration with the Ducati bike during the 2011 season. Raw, honest, and unmistakably Rossi.
Personal details elevate this helmet into true collector territory: Rossi’s trademark sun and moon, the legendary number 46, and hand-drawn illustrations of his two beloved dogs—elements that make each viewing feel intimate and authentic.
Built on the premium AGV GP-Tech platform, the shell is constructed from SSL (Super Super Light) carbon fiber and Kevlar, delivering elite-level engineering beneath the bold artwork.
