Fitment: 99-06 Harley-Davidson Big Twin models
These forged 3-7/8" big bore pistons convert Harley-Davidson Big Twin engines 95", and are compatible with stock or S&S Super Stock cylinder heads in. A 5.3cc pop up dome provides a slight compression increase. Piston weight is virtually identical to that of stock pistons in 88" motors, so rebalancing the stock flywheels is not necessary. +.005" bore.
Features:
- All piston kits come with two pistons, rings, wrist pins, and wrist pin keepers
- Compression ratios listed are approximate and are calculated using the correct length cylinders as specified by S&S
- Require the use of connecting rods with a rod length of 7.440"; Use of earlier connecting rods with a rod length of 7.470" will result in a slight increase in the compression ratio of about 1/2 point, and may also result in clearance problems (check all piston to cylinder head clearances carefully when using the early style rods)
