About the 2016 Iannone Winter Test Helmet
Inspired by one of the most talked-about moments of the 2015 MotoGP season, the AGV Iannone 2016 Winter Test Pista Helmet showcases Andrea Iannone’s bold personality and unmistakable racing style. Worn during the 2016 winter MotoGP tests, this limited-edition design combines aggressive Ducati racing aesthetics with the humor and self-irony that made Iannone a fan favorite.
The helmet features a striking Ducati red upper section highlighted by a cartoon-style white seagull graphic — a playful reference to the infamous Phillip Island incident where Iannone collided with a seagull while leading the race. The dazed expression on the bird adds a lighthearted touch to an otherwise race-focused design. Along the sides and rear, Iannone’s famous nickname, “The Maniac,” appears alongside Ducati branding, completing the aggressive MotoGP-inspired look.
