About the 2017 Winter Test Helmet
The Rossi Winter Test 2017 Helmet is one of the most creative and personal designs ever worn by Valentino Rossi. Designed as a snow globe, the helmet pays tribute to Rossi’s hometown of Tavullia, capturing the picturesque village blanketed in snow and enclosed within a crystal-clear globe.
On the visor’s upper-left corner sits the iconic Tavullia town sign with its unmistakable 46 km/h speed limit — a playful nod to Rossi’s legendary racing number. The front of the design showcases the town hall and the Official Fan Club banner, while the classic AGV tricolor logo stands proudly — symbolizing over two decades of partnership throughout Rossi’s extraordinary career.
Across the chin guard, the signature fluo-yellow 46 cuts through the wooden base of the snow globe, visually enclosing the head of the nine-time World Champion beneath the distinctive Biplano rear spoiler.
